2026 SARA NY DESIGN AWARDS
On June 4th, 2026, SARA NY Council celebrated it's 31st SARA NY Design Awards at The New Yorker Hotel. The SARA NY Design Awards attracts entries from across the country and around the world from individuals, firms, and students of architecture and allied disciplines. Awards were granted for a wide range of categories and project types. This year SARA NY honored 48 professional firms and 24 students with Design Awards. This year the awards opened with a cocktail party and live musical entertainment from Natalie Pierro & Ross Lower. Saatva sponsored a student grant, received by Aatika Hayat from The New School. SARA NY awarded this year's Kathryn Marie Firneis Student Scholarship to Yale University student, Na rye Han. The 2026 SARA NY Design Awards were sponsored by: Acelab, ArkDesign.AI, Armstrong World Industries, Brickworks Design Studio, DACOR, Hafele, James Hardie, JFP Studios, NanaWall, Porcelanosa, Saatva, Zetlin & De Chiara Law, and 2Fabricate.
